RESUMEN

¿Cómo hacer un resumen?


1. LEER:


El primer paso para hacer un buen resumen, es realizar una buena lectura.  Para esto, se debe comprender todas las palabras del texto y, si hace falta, utilizar el diccionario.

2. SUBRAYAR:


En  un texto corto, conviene subrayar la idea principal de cada párrafo.

Ejemplo:

En la mitología romana, Plutón era el nombre del hermano de Júpiter y Neptuno. Cuando los tres dioses se repartieron el mundo a Júpiter le correspondió reinar sobre el cielo y la tierra; a Neptuno, los mares y a Plutón, el hades, un mundo subterráneo a donde iban a parar las almas de los muertos. En honor a este dios, se puso el nombre de Plutón al cuerpo celeste descubierto el 18 de febrero de 1930, por el astrónomo estadounidense Clyde William Tombaugh.

En principio, la Unión Astronómica Internacional le concedió la categoría de noveno planeta del Sistema Solar, a pesar de que Plutón presentaba características peculiares que lo diferenciaban de los otros:

Su escaso tamaño, que hacía que casi no se lo pudiera ver con el telescopio por lo que era difícil que se determinara su dimensión real. Actualmente, se sabe que tiene 2.300 Km. de diámetro, es decir, que es más pequeño que la Luna de la Tierra.

Presentaba una órbita inclinada con respecto a los otros planetas. Además, esta órbita cruzaba la de Neptuno, lo que hacía que, algunas veces, Plutón estuviera más cerca del Sol que el propio Neptuno.

Su satélite, Caronte, frenó sus rotaciones, lo que causó que éste y Plutón siempre presentaran la misma cara el uno al otro y se movieran como unidos por un hilo.


En un texto más largo, como un libro, puedes sacar las ideas principales de cada capítulo.

3. REALIZAR UN ESQUEMA:

Con las ideas principales puedes hacer un cuadro sinóptico o un mapa conceptual.

Ejemplo:

1. Plutón fue descubierto el 18 de febrero de 1930, por el astrónomo estadounidense Clyde William Tombaugh.

2. Presentaba características peculiares que lo diferenciaban de los otros:

  • Su escaso tamaño
  • Una órbita inclinada
  • Su satélite, Caronte, y Plutón siempre presentaran la misma cara el uno al otro.

4. REDACTAR:


Con tus propias palabras explica brevemente las ideas principales que has anotado. Puedes escribir primero un borrador. Si es posible, elimina los datos innecesarios y pasa a limpio.

Ejemplo:

Plutón fue descubierto en 1930, por el astrónomo estadounidense Tombaugh. Tenía algunas características especiales como su escaso tamaño, una órbita inclinada y el que, con su satélite Caronte giraban como unidos por un hilo.

Tu resumen estará  bien si... 
  1. Explica claramente la esencia del texto resumido.
  2. No usa exactamente las palabras del original.
  3. Es corto.
  4. No se ha añadido información. Recuerda que el resumen es distinto del comentario, por lo tanto, no hace falta que escribas tus opiniones en este tipo de texto.

Mechanism of extraction of oil

The extraction, production or oil is made according to the characteristics of each site. The method used is an electrolytic procedure, where the salt, dissolved or melted, subjected to the passaje of an electric current.
